Miscellaneous Technical Things

Yes, I still don't really know my way around.

First, this site is loading slowly on more than one occasion, and its becoming a real problem. I hope the speed can be improved?

Second, I have a new option on my menu - "Write new Entry." What does that mean?

Third, who do I e-mail about these things? What's their address? (Please don't post in a way that spammers can read)

Fourth, is there a way to find the top rated comments?

Thanks, and I'll trade mojo for answers. Sorry about filling the space on the list; I'll delete once I get the info I need.

I have "Write New Diary" and "Edit Entries," but not "Write New Entry."

My previous screenname, ihaveseenenough, seems to be acting weird no matter what computer I use.  I can't tell if I was banned or what- there was no warning or anything like that, and I hadn't done anything stupid, so I'm assuming I wasn't.

-I can no longer comment (I'm logged in- but it prompts me to log in in order to comment).

-I can't rec or rate.

-If I log out, the whole site goes blank when I reload it and stays that way.

-It still has my diaries and comments and ratings, but I can't do new ones.

Any clues?

Changing your password?
Checking your account and user settings?

I've seen "Write New Entry" a few times before on the main page underneath "Write New Diary".  It's very random.  I suspect it's a bug in the system exposing part of the administrative interface to users who aren't supposed to see it, specifically the button to post a new front page story, although there's almost no chance you could actually post on the front page.  You could always try using it.

I've had the same issue with the "Add New Entry" link.  My guess is the same as yours.
